The Secretariat Office is responsible for organizing university committee meetings, administrative meetings (these two types of meetings are jointly organized by Documentation Section under the Office of General Affairs), university development committee meetings (jointly organized by the Vice President of Administration), director meetings, secretary meetings, state compensation committee meetings, and space planning committee meetings (jointly organized by the Vice President of Administration). All these meetings were successfully concluded in the past year, and follow-up mechanism has been created to make sure that consensuses reached in the meetings are rightly observed.

    Dean (a full-time professor faculty) of the Office of Academic Affair is in charge of overall academic affairs for the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. The Office of Academic Affair is grouped into three divisions including
(1) General Academic Affair Division,
(2) Teaching Affair Division,
(3) Graduate Education Division. Each division is assigned a director (a full-time faculty) and several staff members

    The purpose of education at the college level, besides attaining knowledge and skills, is the cultivation of healthy personality. The Office of Student Affairs serves to counsel the student regarding his or her career planning , and to help them establish an enthusiastic life perspective , pursue the truth of life , and assume social responsibility.

    The primary mission of The Office of Research and Development (ORD) is to represent the University’s interests in enhancing the research and development capability of the University, promoting beneficial relationships between the University and the industry, and establishing academic cooperation with domestic and/or international academia.

    The Division of Continuing and Extension Education is led by a dean, appointed by the President, who is in charge of the affairs in the division. Four subdivisions are set up inside the division, namely the Subdivision of Continuing Education, Extension Education, Student Affairs and General Affairs. All the four subdivisions are headed by a director leading a number of military instructors and staff.
