NPUST has a long history in educating students
of agricultural talent. To promote the students' and the citizens'
understanding of agriculture technology and culture, the university
set up the Antique Agricultural Machinery Museum under the
assistance of MOE and Council for Cultural Affairs. Over the past
fourteen years, the Museum collected more than 2,700 pieces of
traditional agricultural machinery. Via systematic classification,
the museum applies real objects, miniatures, illustrations and
multimedia to introduce the machinery used in agriculture, fishing
and livestock farming. The museum consists of seven display areas,
i.e. Display Area of Taiwan's Agricultural Development History,
Display Area of Land Preparation Machinery, Winding Corridor Display
Area, Display Area of Taiwan's Agriculture—Past & Present,
Provisional Display Area of Treasured Items, Multimedia Display
