NPUST Graduation Ceremony on June 13, 2008

The NPUST 2008 commencement ceremony was held on Friday, June 13 in Shu-Yun Hall. Our school has made great efforts in promoting campus internationalization for many years. In addition, we have operated in coordination with the national policy of expanding the academic diplomacy and striving for training agricultural and managerial talents from all over the world, from countries either with or without diplomatic ties. The aim is to promote the development experience of Taiwan, and to gain the international and national recognition. A total of 2,816 students graduated this year, including 2,184 Bachelors, 627 Masters and 5 Doctors. Among them, 14 Bachelors, 14 Masters and 1 Doctors are foreign students from Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize, Gambia, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Solomon Islands, Mongolia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Kiribati. The ambassador of Solomon Islands, and representatives from the Embassies of Burkina Faso and The Gambia attended the ceremony to encourage the graduates.
