The 16th Asian Dairy Conference on 2 September, 2008.

The conference was held in the international conference hall at YuGon library in National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, ROC. A relationship of sister school has been established among the four universities, including Rakuno Gakuen University in Japan, Hankyong National University in Korea, National Chiayi University in Taiwan and NPUST. They take turns to be the host of the Conference. This year, it is NPUST that directed the Conference. In addition to the experts and the proficient from Japan and Korea, NPUST also invited speakers from Israel, Thailand, Philippine, and Malaysia, etc to present their paper on special subjects. The subject of this year is nutrition, feeding and management of calves and replacement heifers.
