To ensure safe transportation on campus, all faculty, staff, and students are reminded to follow the following safety guidelines when riding bicycles, electric-assisted bicycles, and electric two-wheeled vehicles:

1. Observe the Speed Limit

Please ride at a safe and reduced speed, with a recommended speed of 20 km/h or below. Slow down and watch for other vehicles when approaching intersections and curves.

2. Use the Slow Lane

On roads with designated fast and slow lanes, bicycles should travel in the slow lane and keep to the right.

3. Do Not Ride in Fast Lanes or on Sidewalks

Bicycles must not be ridden in fast lanes, on sidewalks, or in arcades unless the area is clearly marked as a shared bicycle and pedestrian path or a designated bicycle lane.

4. Do Not Ride Side by Side

Bicycles must travel in a single file and in the same direction in the slow lane. Riding side by side or against the direction of traffic is prohibited.

Please ride safely and help maintain a safe campus for everyone.
