Abstract:
To be successful in building a business or managing an existing one takes more than just ideas and enthusiasm. Ideas have to be evaluated vigorously against reality; (1) Are these ideas feasible in both technology and cost for commercialization? (2) If commercialized into products, do they provide real value to customers? (3) It also necessary to have a good plan and a structure with which you will take your products/services to the market and make a profit. While preparing a good plan takes effort, the planning process help in researching and rethinking through your business in a systematic way which involves important aspects of a business including targeted customers, market research, competitive analysis, channels to reach customers, production plan, management team, finance package, etc. The goal of this course is to provide tools and knowledge for better preparation in pursuing your dream business with successful results.
