1.Topic:Raffle Prizes for Students Who Have Completed Evaluation Surveys

2.Activity Description:In order to increase the completion rate of evaluation surveys, the university will hold raffle activities for students and classes who complete their evaluation surveys (classes with overall completion rates of 85% or higher will be eligible for prizes).

3.Objectives:Student evaluations are important tools for improving teaching quality and providing feedback to teachers. In order to get an accurate understanding of classroom situations, is necessary for more students to complete the evaluation surveys. Thus, a raffle activity will be used to encourage students and teachers to improve rates of completion.

4.Participants:All students(bachelors, master’s, PhD level)

6.Schedule:Fall Semester
1)Activity Schedule: 16th and 17th week of Fall Semester (December 23rd 2019 ~ January 5th, 2020).
2)Announcement of Prizes: On January 7th (Tues), 2020 the results of the random computer-selected raffle winners will be announced.
3)Prize Collection Period: January 10th ~ February 28th, 2020.

1)Top Prizes for Individuals: 20 names will be selected to receive wireless Bluetooth headphones (Product name: JLab JBuds Air Executive).
2)Secondary Prizes for Individuals: 100 names will be selected to receive a 200 NTD gift certificate for the NPUST Bookstore.
All students (undergraduate, master’s, PhD) who have completed the evaluation surveys for all their courses (excluding off-campus courses, special seminars, and master’s/PhD theses) are eligible to receive prizes. After the surveys are all in, the computer system will randomly select 120 lucky winners to receive one of the abovementioned prizes.
3)Undergraduate Class Prizes: 10 classes will be selected to receive a 3,000 NTD gift certificate for the NPUST Bookstore.
Undergraduate classes from both day-time and continuing education divisions that have filled out their surveys at a rate of 85% or higher will be eligible to receive prizes.
4)Items of Attention for Collecting Prizes: Students are to bring their National ID Card or ARC to service desk No.1 at the Office of Academic Affairs in the Administrative Building to collect their prizes. Prizes not collected within the designated period will be regarded as forfeited.
5)With respect to any unaddressed items, the organizing unit may make amendments to the above guidelines at any time. Amendments will be announced on the Office of Academic Affairs website.
